El cable de fibra optica Opti-Core™ para aplicaciones ópticas LAN pasivas cumplen con los requisitos comunes para cables de 1 y 2 fibras para redes ópticas pasivas. Estos cables de uso interior Monomodo OS2 utilizan un forro exterior termoplástico amarillo (OFNR/FT4) clasificado Riser; elementos de fuerza en aramida y es insensible a curvaturas de acuerdo a la ITU G.657.A1/G.652.D con un buffer ajustado de 900µm. Esta construcción permite que el cable cumpla con las exigencias de instalación y desempeño que se encuentran normalmente en arquitecturas PON.
