El cable de fibra óptica Panduit Opti-Core de distribución con blindaje entrelazado de aluminio para interiores constituye una solución integral de extremo a extremo, diseñada para satisfacer las demandas actuales de datos y los requerimientos de red más avanzados del futuro. Su armadura de aluminio entrelazado (interlocking aluminum armor) elimina la necesidad de ductos internos o conduit, proporcionando una vía resistente al aplastamiento de menor sección transversal que mejora la flexibilidad de diseño y reduce el costo total instalado. Disponible en versiones para riser (OFCR) y plenum (OFCP), este cable incorpora fibra monomodo ITU-T G.652.D y fibra multimodo optimizada para láser en grados OM3, OM4 y OM5, con capacidades de 6 a 144 fibras. Cumple con los estándares UL-1666, NFPA 262, ANSI/ICEA S-83-596, CSA 22.2 y Telcordia GR-409, siendo además RoHS compliant, lo que lo posiciona como una opción técnica robusta para backbones intra-edificio, backbones de edificio e instalaciones horizontales en entornos adversos.
