El radomo MTRADC ayuda a reducir la carga del viento, protege las superficies del reflector de ambientes hostiles, protege el alimentador de la antena contra objetos caídos, afecta positivamente la sostenibilidad de la antena y su vida operativa. Está fabricado con un material especial que tiene una baja constante dieléctrica, y no se ve afectado significativamente por cambios de temperatura ni por la luz solar directa.
